The following are some of the indicators that we consider to evaluate the effectiveness of our service:
Improvement in the client's quality of life Improvement in the acquisition of alternative skills and positive behaviors
Improvement in guardian and conservator satisfaction with services Improvement in positive collateral effect such as appropriate social interaction
Dramatic increase in effectiveness of implementation of behavior support plan Reduced need for and use of medical and crisis management services for client
Increase in effectiveness of implementation of residential services expectations Improvement in family peace of mind and quality of life
Improvement in training and professionalism of direct care staff in all areas Improvement and greater participation in integrated community experiences with less restrictive placements
Improved employee satisfaction Improvement in Quality-of- life happiness, satisfaction, choices for client
Dramatic decrease in cost of behavioral services provided while increasing effectiveness Perception of improvement by family/significant others
Improvement in target behavior (reduction of excess) Improvement in expanded social relationship and informal support network
Reduced need for more restrictive alternatives such as jail, mental health hospital, psychotropic medications
